The dog we got back in April turned out to be a beagle/terrier mix. Jimbo has no tendency to use his nose and isn't gonna make much of a hunter, but he's a good dog. Why would someone not have a smartphone? My 12 yr. old doesn't, but that's just because I don't want him to have access to all the internet at any time and any place. A smartphone is a computer in your pocket and is usually as fast as any computer on any network. Get a smartphone, you Luddite.

I have about a half dozen mature wild cherry trees in my yard and the ground is covered with them. Every night there are a few deer eating them. I'm also seeing a lot of persimmons on the trees. So far the acorn crop looks pretty unimpressive around here.

Yeah, RB. She's a 1st cousin. Her dad & my dad are brothers.

She'll be 42 in a month. In a little over a year, she'll have 20 years as a police officer in Mesa, AZ and will retire. She started as a part-time aerobics instructor many years ago and went into strength training.

She took 3rd.

Just a fair warning, my cousin is a female. Here's the link to some pics of her this weekend at the USA Nationals in Las Vegas. She made it through the 1st round today (Friday).
