ATV Junkyard?
Our old farm ATV's (Honda 300 2 wheel drive- Late 80/ early 90's) rear end went out recnetly. i was going to make a project out of fixing it myself. Does anyone know of any old ATV's of this vintage with, say a blown engine or something else where the rear differential etc. is still salvagable? (My ...

Re: Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
I would have the person ask Larry or Terra then. I don't know if/who they are using as realtor type contact/advertising or anything.

Re: Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
I don't know if it is listed per se. I have it from a good source though. I think they want to make sure the new owner knows what they are doing and what they are getting into. The restaurant has been vacant for a long time, but past operators weren't successful. Check it out yourself though. I thin...

Re: Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
I also heard South Fork Resort is attempting to be sold. That little gem has a lot more potential than Mick's place- but a place like that would be a lot of work. Larry and Terra Douglas turned that place around, compared to what it used to be.

Re: Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
I don't know if Mick sold his business- but he was letting someone else do the weekday tournament organizing. That is just a good-will type of thing probably. I think he was looking to sell, but I don't know for sure. I can think having a good tackle shop on that lake would have some potential, but ...

Re: Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
Thanks for the reply. That must be Charlie Kunkel, huh? I'm out of the range to drive for the weekday tournaments (O'Fallon), but my brother (Quincy) fished the Tuesday night tournaments Mick put on the last couple years. He actually won/got money in a couple too. There weren't a lot of boats in the...

Re: Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
Yeah- MTL only. I think the only two choices are Angler's Choice and then Bass World Sports. MTL is closest for me and my partner and I just like it the best for the closeness, general lack of really big boats, no houses up and down the hillsides. Also the fact that I am getting to know it and we ge...

Tournament Series on Mark Twain?
Since the discontinuation of the SuperBass on MTL, my partner and I are looking for a different tournament series for MTL. Does anyone know of a good replacement?

Re: Scope question
BTW, what type of slug you shooting? I use a PowerBelt and they are great. I think the weight is 298 grains/ Hollow Point. Of course the balance between powder/slug weight is something you can play with as well as type of slug/sabot. I started with the PowerBelts and didn't change. I don't shoot eno...

Re: Scope question
Smitty- in all seriousness- it isn't the scope. You are probably using to much powder for the gun. I shoot a Mag 150 gun, but the accuraccy/consistency is crap with that much charge. Step down to 100 grains and I'll bet the accuracy is much better- mine was. I can hit a 2.5 inch circle consistently ...

Re: Scope question
Smitty- don't listen to any of these Jack-legs. You stated you wanted to get the bullet to move down. These dummies are telling you how to move the scope- they are not the same! In order to move the "bullet" down you have use a vise- but not a gun vise. Put the gun barrel in a heavy duty s...
