Worlds Best Pork Steak

Made some Two Dudes style pork steak. They buy their meat at Mosers on the north service road east of 47 in Warrenton. If you go in there tell the meat cutter you want a two dudes cut pork steak. The wife bought 3 of them a couple weeks ago. I smoked two of them and three of us could only manage to eat one of them at dinner. smoked for 7 hours over pecan and black cherry from the smoke master DMR. Put beer thinned Sweet Baby Rays with a little malt vineage basting the last hour. Best pork steaks i have ever done and just as good as the ones from two dudes. Thanks Greg.

Got a Mosers here in Holts Summit. Best custom meat cutters I've found 'cept maybe for Newman's Country Mart in Warsaw. Mom & Pop store down there. They'll cut you a 6" thick filet iffin you want it an cut it with a fork

fish, one thing for sure is that Moser's has a great meat department. Their steakburger is about as good as it gets. We shop there for all our meat. Never been to the meat shop in Warsaw but will check it out next time we are down there.

RB - Newman's is on the eastside on the way to old downtown Warsaw. Better place to food shop than the Mega- Wally World

PS, if you are coming east on 70 exit at Warrenton and make a right on 47. Go thru the first light and it's on the left. Not much to look at but good bbq. Check out some of the comments in the restaurant forum.

I've had the ribs and giant pork steak at Two Dudes and both were good. Might have to stop in this Friday.

Go to the one in Columbia and see if they know what the two dudes cut of pork steak is. If not they can call warrenton. smoke them low and slow because they are too thick to try and grill.
