Is anybody planning to hunt this weekend? For the first time got my tags for deer and turkey on line. Saved a bunch of money over stopping at Bass Pro or Cabelas for them. They still charged me a buck convenience fee but the permits were free. Good luck and be safe if you get out.

I haven't purchased fall firearm tags in years. My dad gets them every year though and he always tags at least one. I'll be out this weekend, toting the darton, but if a turkey shows up, it's in trouble!!!

Thanks LS, had a flock in front of the house most of this week. Hens, jakes and young hens with one or two toms that stay with them all year. about 16 birds all together. I just whack em out the front window in my camo pj's.

Anybody been turkey hunting? I have been out a few times and have not seen a bird. The wife sees them alll week while I am at work and they disappear on the weekends.
