Ron...there was one boat way up on the north end of the Flats. From where we were, it appeared to be well out from shore, too. Every boat we saw was bank running like us.

Heading down there for the weekend... Guvner..

Even if you don't catch a boatload of fish, any time spent on the water is better than mowing the yard or weeding the garden. We have possible rain predicted in the area tomorrow and Friday, so it might cool down for the weekend. Looks like our next trip will be up to Truman for wipers. If we're close to the big flats at the mouth of Pomme de Terre, might take a shot at a walleye or two.

T.R.,it's that nasty word that starts with a 'W',I was in N.E. Az doing some stuff for the Hopi tribe.The problem with Az is very,very few lakes to go fishing.Nice to be back,hopefully we'll see you at the meeting this evening.

I had planned on making the meeting but things keep popping up around here. It's down to about a 50 / 50 chance. Will make decision later in the day.
