Congrats on a good trip. At least you caught a few. Any size to those eyes?

The two I had in the boat were healthy, but short. Idid have a couple of real nice one get off probably 3to 6 lbers. The hot spot has seem to be on the big flat in front of Lead Hill marina. There are fish on every flat but not like that one. Some walleye are going deep over the sunken forests but a great deal of them are staying on the flats.

How deep on those flats, MM? With the water level in TR right now, I can fish flats from -2FOW to +25FOW.
Were you using boards to get the lines away from the boat noise, or do you think it matters?

Sorry, I should have read your post closer.
Lead core is a PITA, IMHO. It sure doesn't want to come off the reel very easily.

I have boards, but don't use them unless I have two people in the boat and running 4 lines it gets to be work. Espcially if your where it is snaggy. Also it takes to long to turn around ,and your odds of getting two lies tangled greatly increase. If you run boards ,my first advise is to make sure your cranks are running straight are you will be getting in a lot of messes.I've experienced it .

Me and my dad went to stockton friday only caught four short walleye in his boat. And of course all of the other species. Went back in and then went out with REEL XTC JR. We caught two nice eyes over 20 inches in about two hours or so.

just got back from lewis and clark lake (missouri river)in south dakota. caught a few short walleyes but did real well on white bass. the white bass are huge out of this river system. caught them all trolling shad raps and wally divers.
