Truman Lake 8-13

Post by Bruce Carpenter » August 15th, 2005, 9:29 am

Two of us caught 25 keepers, averaging 10-13 inchers in about four hours, got off the water as it was very warm and humid. Fish were down 10-15 feet and caught with jig and minnow, tightlining, bite was very lite and had to pay attention to line to catch fish. Probabaly caught 20 shorts all morning. Only one or two fish per brushpile. Wait I think I have another bite!

They've been spread out here in the Jackson Co lakes also Bruce. Just a couple fish per spot, and it's time to move.

I didn't risk the weather this weekend though. Image
The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.
