This Board Needs a Fire Under It's Ass...
I spent last weekend Turkey hunting and spent the afternoons split between looking for mushrooms and fishing some warmwater farm ponds down near Farmington. The rains Friday and Saturday morning put the ponds over their banks, but also brought the big bass out onto the shallows to feed. Caught 2 3lb bass out of a pond less than an acre in size on the flyrod, both on a size 8 ginger wooly bugger. 4 or 5 bluegills too, unbelievably fun stuff. Anyone else been out lately?

I've decided to build an ark instead.
Sharps, thinking I was going to give the Fork a try this weekend, this is what I get for thinking.

Welll....all the creeks I cross on a daily basis were pretty ugly. What the heck, it is just May 1. We gotta expect this.

It's kinda hard to type while fishing and hunting shrooms.
