2B....If you shop somewhere that has both the 1000 model and the 2500 model to look at, check the spool depth carefully. The 1000 model has a really shallow spool and it'll hold enough 4 lb test to cover most situations but if you plan on using, say, 6 lb test and are going to be casting along ways, you might want to get the 2500 model. They both cost the same..... Image

I usually stick with 4lbs, even 2 lbs on occassion. Don't think I have every gone as heavy as 6lbs on an ul. Thanks again for the input. Image
