I went to a local lake yesterday and caught a bunch of little bluegill and a few crappie with my fly rod.....won't be long now til the fishin' gets good! It felt good to have the scappy little devils on the end of my line. Anyone else hitting them yet?

If it's the lake I am thinking - I hooked into my biggest gill out of there.

Lions club ?? Thats a pond... I was thinking Lil Prarie.
If you dont mind forking out around $200 a year for membership, Bray's lake (like 5 minutes further down 63 from Lions Club) is great for gills, crappie and lgBass. Some say there is good cats to be had in there too, but I never bothered to really fish for them. I held membership there for a few year, but kinda got bored with the place. If you are interested, I'll give you the info on how to get in touch with the owner.
