I wear cheap azs rubber boots. When they wear out, I gets some more.

I picked up some 16" Red Head rubber boots with 1000 grams Thinsulate at the BPS catalog outlet for $30. They've lasted 2 full years and I've put them to the test. A few months after I got them, we let the dog in the garage on a very cold night. She was still a pup and tore the chit out of a lot of things in the garage. One of the things she got ahold of was the boots. She tore the fabric on them in a couple places, and put a small tear in the rubber on the right boot where the big toe bends. In the almost 2 yrs since then, that tear has still not opened up into a hole, and they're as waterproof as the day I bought them.

My 3 y.o. would give them a "thumbs up" and a "green checkmark".

Get them a size or two to big and wear extra socks. That'll keep you comfy.

Try these MOCraig:

A friend of mine has these, and loves them. I might add that he`s more picky than a woman about his hunting boots. (No offense LA)
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

They are the chit; warm, dry and comfy.

If your friend has had the same pair since the 60's, and wears them as often... I feel like I got myself a helluva bargain. Mine are a year old Image
