Going to Taney next weekend, and staying at Lilley's. We're looking forward to it.

It depends on if you know how to mend your line effectively in the current, or if you're a ff neophyte.

The Lindley Lift is a great technique to entice a strike on trout, just before a "proper" hatch, but as the nymphs are scuttling to the surface. Deadly technique.

I like to tease the fish to the surface, kinda like Brad Pitt in "A River Runs through it". (I look alot like him too)

I've fished the stream that was used as the backdrop for "A River Runs Through It". It is unique in serveral ways from the other trout streams in the same area. One interesting aspect is the number of deep holes that aren't found on the other streams in the area. Another is the presence of native bull trout and west slope cutthroats.

BTW, is there a reason Phil doesn't post up over here but posted on the CC and CO boards?

CC is DOA. The change and downtime has set them back... but they'll bounce back. I check the boards every few days to see if I can contribute.
