Rocky Kaus of Eldridge caught these paddlefish March 16 in the Niangua Arm of Lake of the Ozarks. The fish weighed 70 and 59 pounds.

Not necessarily so Rafester, they ARE referred to as spoonbill catfish. Image

I had a link all posted up for him Triton, but then deleted. I didn't seen any need to encourage him. Image Besides where would I find the "spoonbill" forum? Is between the Flathead and the Blue forums?

You now a lot of people will look at the pics and say what a couple of nice spoonbill CATFISH...Me on the other hand see a person who worked his tail off snagging those things...It is a lot of work snagging those things....

Man, I hear ya on that tough fishing thing. My idea of fishing is bait on the end of a hook, cast, open beer and wait for strike. Snagging is too much like work...but damnn those spoonbill CATFISH taste good!
