Took the kids out

Post by Rafe Hollister » May 29th, 2006, 2:04 pm

While we were in IL, Rafe, Jr. caught his first fish. The significance of the moment was not lost on him, as he promptly reminded us, "That's the first fish I've caught in the whole wide world!" He'll be 4 on June 20.

I know I haven`t told you this before Rafe, but thank you for Imageg my kid to be an outdoorsman.

On a serious note...had I known that my kids would enhance my life so much, I wouldn`t have pissed away so much time, and money, being single. (and before any of you smartazzes mentions it, yes I did have options).

Awesome pictures Rafe. Congrats on yet another "first". You can never have enough of those. Image

YOUR kid, 170?

Your honor, I submit into evidence, Exhibit A. This is a picture of me at age 5.

I rest my case.

You'll also notice that he was using artificials. Mrs. Hollister hooked a little bluegill for him & let him bring it in, but he was thoroughly unimpressed with that. If we'd catch a small bass or bluegill, we'd put it on his hook & let him reel it in. Again, he wasn't really thrilled with it, but had fun fighting them. It was only when he sealed the deal himself that he was really proud. That's my boy!

Just save it MOCraig. I`ve already tried to point that out. He`s still in denial.
