Carp are starting to get up close to the banks. Next week, and for 2+ weeks after that, there should be some really good carp shooting.

I don't fool with them though.
The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.

dave - finding them isn't my problem...hitting them is! To use BornBad's analogy...I'm shooting the water behind them, except in my case it's ABOVE them. Guess I'm not "aiming low" enough! Image I've only been out a couple of times last fall, so I'm still at the beginning of my learning curve. Image

They're rolling in the smaller ponds/lakes. I caught a 23" carp by accident the other day.

The bigheads were swimming in force below Bagnell dam on Saturday, until the East wind blew up and put them down. Can't wait to hit the river again

Got this one today on Grand Glaize-44# and put up one mean fight.Got a 31# and a 42# last night before the sun went down. Life is good. Redddfred
