Hey TableRock-

I saw your entry in the OM Fishing Contest- I don't believe I've heard much (ever)about big walleye coming out of the Rock.

Details, man, details.

TH, there isn't much to tell except that I was trolling crankbaits and lucked into a big walleye. There are walleyes in Tablerock but the population isn't as good as Bull Shoals. I even heard of some decent walleye catches up at Truman earlier this summer... And also at Beaver Lake in Arkansas. Maybe we're gettin' better at catching them or maybe we're just getting luckier. From what I heard this spring, you may have already exceeded the walleye catch on Bull Shoals this year. Image

I usually do pretty good at catching a decent walleye or two every fishing trip I take to Truman (that's my home fishing waters). I use crankbaits almost exclusively when trolling, so that may be part of it. I never really catch quantities of walleye there though.

I'd be curious to know which general area of TR you caught the walleye and what depth, if you don't mind stating it. Specific locations don't need to be mentioned.
