FYI- There was a story from the KC news this weekend- two guys did a home invasion and stabbed the owner in the hand with a knife. He retrieved his firearm and shot both of them. They escaped while the police came to the scene, but showed up at a local hosiptal later. They are expected to be charged if they recover.
