Another rabbit hunt

I took Baum's Blue Bonnie out in the rain today. She hit on some rabbits and ran hard all day. The stupid things just wouldn't come out of the cover. Usually they'll get out and run the fence rows and fields to put some distance between them & the dog but today I only saw one get in a field. At least we had a good day running through the weeds, briars, and brush.

After 3 hunts I have yet to fire a shot. There were a few times I could've in the first 2 hunts but chose not to, just to let her run more. There are still plenty of rabbits at that CA but not as many as the last few years.

had some friends hunt the property yesterday and they got six. just walking no dog.
