First time seeing this vendor- I'm not sure I would EVER pay that for a lure (even an antique) but there is something to be said for more realistic painted finishes or non-traditional finishes.

I have been using the new Glass-raps and having very good luck with them. They seem to have an iridescent flash and look to them as well as the rattles. I also seem to have good luck with realistic patterns on my Shap Raps.

Im not real proud of it but I paid 30 dollars last spring for a Megabass lure.

I just noticed yesterday that Lucky Craft RC Series crank baits go for around $16. I can get three Bandits, or Bagleys, for that.

Bandit crankbaits are probably the best bargain for the buck out there, but I remember when not too long ago they were just a little over 2 dollars apiece....not now.
