This was the first tournament of its kind in the United States. From what I`ve heard, and read, it was a huge success. Babe Winkelman spoke at the pre-tournament banquet. All of the boats were supplied by volunteers/coaches. The kids could operate the trolling motor, but not drive the boat. It was apparently a big success. Hopefully trap shooting, archery, and sporting clays won`t be far behind.
