Tigers Football Goes to Texas Bowl on Dec 31st

In case you hadn't heard, the Mizzou Tigers will play their bowl game on new Year's Eve Day afternoon against the Navy Midshipmen. There was a lot of controversy as to why they were passed over for the Insight Bowl, since their record in the Big 12 was better than Iowa State's record.

I personally don't have a major issue with it- Mizzou will be on ESPN (or is it the Deuce) and will play in an area that they recruit strongly (Houston, Texas). It's not like they were gypped out of a BCS bowl or anything.

Think I read where they have 31 players from Texas so it may be a good recruiting thing.
