Mark Twain Forest

I've never did anything in Mark Twain,but I'm thinking about it.How does a person find where to camp? I did one search says I can camp anywhere?But this dosn't sound right.

Oneshot - It is all public land. You can camp wherever you want to unless it is posted as prohibited. Just get you some good maps as there is a lot of private land within the boundaries MTNF. Image

I can hook you up on a cabin in N-W Ripley Co.And if you wont to fish there is a catfish pond.(NOT FANCEY) but has running water.

semoreb thanks! I'm just wanting to do the Tent thing as cheap as I can wanting to see a few places I haven't seen.

That is what I do.If you ever come this way there is a lot to see in SEMO MTNF.Everybody needs to see Bigsprings .If I can be any help let me know.
