P-Line
P-Line
Is the only brand I know of that makes 3lb line. It's still some pretty hard chit to find on a store shelf too.

You can also buy Trilene Micro Ice OR Trilene Cold Weather, both of which are a 3# mono.

Re: P-Line
P-Line 4# is equivilent to 5X leader in diameter. Thats a popular size for a moving lure in flyfishing, so why 3#?
P-Line is one of the few lines, that I've found, that works well on baitcasters and spinning rods. I use it in test from 2#-8# and found it be strong, especialy given the fact that its a small diameter. The flourocarbon coating makes it abrasion resistant, something I always seem to need on the Smallies creeks.
Many people try to compare lines on breaking weight only, but when you throw in diameter, it all changes. Most 4# test in P-Line, Silver Thread, and the like are the same size as Maxima 3#.
