STRIPED SKUNK

Post by BornBad » August 4th, 2004, 1:11 pm

Characteristics: There is no confusing this one: starkly marked with a white stripe on a silky, black body. Skunks are stout, short-legged animals. They usually have a pair of parallel stripes that can vary in width and length. Skunks stand six inches at the shoulder and weigh three to eight pounds. They have a distinctive aroma, dispersed when agitated from a pair of well developed musk glands.
