No, I'm not working on Carterville right now although as an EPA contractor I could be called to help with it if directed by them. Carterville is a damn mess though!

I'm actually doing mine waste cleanups in Cherokee County Superfund Site right now, so I guess technically that could be excluded from the definition of "Joplin area" although I stay in Joplin when doing the work. I also did work on the yard removals near downtown Joplin and the mine wastes just outside town as part of the Jasper County Superfund Site.

TH, I hear there is quite a mess down that way..I think they call it Rafe Holliteritis. Anthing you can do about that mess....an enviromental hazard if I ever saw one.

I am merely the driveshaft at the back of the government transmission; they run in neutral until shifted into gear. The ways I have seen work best is to get U.S. congressmen/women involved, as things seem to get moving quickly after one of them takes interest in a project.

When you come up 249, exiting into Webb City, you can see my driveway about a mile North.
