Any of you hands that haven't got their fill of morels had better scoot to Northern Mo. with a quickness. It's nearing the end up there, but there's still plenty of fresh ones.
I thought the cool weather would have been a setback, but we picked about 12 pounds of nice big, fresh yellows this past Sat.
I'll be scarfin' 'shrooms all winter.

Dennis,
I wish you had been there. I picked about 75 around one big red elm. It was so thick in there that I had to dayum near crawl.
You could have accomplished the same thing while in a comfortable, upright position.

Since KF is workin' 7-12's, I think I'll call him and rub it in a bit. The poor dude is missin' the turkeys and the shrooms, and I feel obligated to keep pointing that out to him.

Im glad I'm not the only one that missed out on turkeys and shrooms. This spring has sucked. Maybe I'll call KF and go drink and fish.
McLintock, great party, but no whiskey. We go home.
