Serious Fishing Question

Post by RB » June 24th, 2005, 12:16 pm

I am going to Truman next week and targeting hybrids. If I am going to troll crankbaits how deep of a runner should I use? I have never trolled a crank before for brids and I would like to fill the live well with them. Other ideas welcome also. How's that ODF.

You should target humps in main water, your major idicator is shad. You'll need a good graph as your wasting your time if you aren't on both bait and ACTIVE fish. Fish arcs don't mean much, you need fish streakes and balled up bait. Troll your cranks at 14-18 feet. I'd also put on two shallow diving biats and pull them 40 yards behind the boat.

I can tell you a lot more, but you'll have to PM for that.
