Truman Tailrace

Post by Jenny » August 19th, 2005, 10:22 am

It's been a good week of fishin' at the Tailrace. I've seen a few real nice 13-14 inch crappie pulled out, running a little over a pound each. Jigs seem to be working best. The big summer hybrids have been popping up fairly frequently mornings and evenings hitting hard on spoons and a few on topwater. Cats have been fair to good. Lots of 1-10's and a few 20 lb. plus, several being flathead. The rain has stirred things up a little and looks to come in again Fri. night or Sat. so that may stir it up even more.
