Grayfox Down...Sept.31

Set-up on the edge of a floodplain and blew a series of Rabbit Distress on the Tally-Ho open-reed mouthcall and waited a few minutes.
Set-up

Caught movement out to the left front and a gray was closing. The fox caught sight of the Predator Supreme decoy and stopped out about 50yds. to check it out. I took the offered shot and hit a small unseen tree and the fox turned and disappeared into some thicker brush to the left.
I chambered another round and started squeezing the squeeker in rapid squeeks and the fox appeared out about 75yds. standing sideways. The Ruger spat lead and the fox folded.

Sorry, I forgot to advance my wristwatch forward and it's actually Sat/Oct.01....
It's been a hectic week with burying my Father and all, so please excuse the mistakes. May get back to normal real soon; I hope!
