Rabbits were shot this weekend. Quail were seen. Opportunities for grinners were readily available as well.

Anyone else get out this weekend?

I was going to catch it by the tail, but was trying to get the sucker to play dead first. So I catch up to it in the field and knocked him in the noggin' with my 20, and he just hissed and grinned. I holler'd at it for a while and knock him around some more, after a couple minutes of that, I just gave up on the ugly mofo. I hear half of them have distemper anyway. Rafe said the other half have crabs.

I had one hunker down in the garaqe a couple weeks ago and he would not run out. He got in a corner and just hissed. I beat that mofo in the head with a 2X6 for ten minutes. The next morning the mofo was still alive and had crawled out of the corner. I scooped him up with a shovel, tossed him in the driveway and let the 12ga finish up. Hard to kill suckers.
