A shift toward cooler weather has the fishing kind of up and down this week. Lots of great fishing early then a couple of fair days. Many crappie fishermen still finding a lot of fish, but having to work a little harder to do so. Catfishing about the same, fair to good. Whites and hybrids on again this week, with lots of hybrids taken by topwater and Slab Hunters as well as some on live shad. This weekend looks to be rainy on and off. However, bring a little rain gear, and you're likely to really get into some fish with this kind of weather.
