Fish-try fishin some of those frozen shad strips that westhoelters bait in washington carries.

In this heat-thawin em only take bout 10 mins.

They do work pretty good though and thats the only place i know where to get em.

KF, I had a jar and we put shad on about half our hooks. The hot dogs caught all the fish so DMR and I ate the shad for lunch.

I wish the maters in our garden were half as red as my face. I'll be sportin' the " shedding reptile " look in a couple of days. Yeah, I had sunscreen.......... too little, too late.

DMR, I guess your arm is pretty sore where I had to twist it to get you in the pool with a beer. It must have been so painful it took ya 2 1/2 hours to get out of the dang thing.

TH, we would have probably a jillion noodles jugs if'n a bunch of us go.

Boy, that sounds like a plan sometime. The best thing would be to camp overnight on one of the huge sandbars (if you knew it wouldn't rain) and run trotlines and setlines behind the wing dikes and sloughs between batches of fried fish. I know next year I will be doing a lot of that.

TH, I know you said you were tied up with a house and I know how that is....have done it. If we just did a day outing for the fishing a fry you should try to get away for a few hours and join the crowd. There seems to be some interest in this so I will probably post something by itself.
