Noodle fest checklist

Post by RB » August 8th, 2006, 11:34 am

Who is bringing what to the noodle fest?

We probably need:

dining fly
table
grill
fryer

Also, what are you all bringing to eat? If we catch some cats we can eat those. Post up what you are bringing including boats. Also what time does everyone want to start and who is planning on spending the night on the river?

I can bring a Weber, and a fryer. Will you have room for all of that chit, L.R. ?

Food ? Anyone that can't catch fish dines on bait. Image

Start time ? If it's 112 in the shade, ( like last trip ) anyone in their right mind would be OFF of the river and cleanin' fish at the same time of day that the last trip STARTED !!

I'll spend the night on the sandbar if some other folks are. It's nice out there at night. A couple of runs for fire wood, and we'd be set. I'm skeered of the dark. Image

We might be talkin' multiple trips between the ramp and the camp. It takes a lot of gear to make these type of deals right. Image

DMR, when we piles all dat chit in da boat we'se gonna look like a raft full of kneegrows going up da river. Roscoe said he would bring a fryer so a weber would do. I might bring a small pop up and lantern for skeerdy cats after dark. I don't know who all else is planning to stay.

I will be there with my boat. Looks like Fish has the fryer covered. I plan on staying the night. I should have some room in my boat to shuttle stuff to the camp site. I can bring some macaroni salad. I have a card table I can bring. What else do we need?

I'll be there. I can't really bring anything except food as all my stuff is in storage. I'll bring a bunch of taters to cut up and fry. I can also bring some turkey to either fry or barbecue.

PS, what are you doing for boat transport? Roscoe may have room of ODF doesn't show up but then you two would be beatin the pizz outta each other all day. If roscoe act like the freight barge you can ride in my boat and you can be the baiter.

I think I'll be riding with Roscoe. Thing about it is this; my hands are of the delicate type and baiting and all that is not in my gameplan.

PS, I have heard you would be great at baiting...Many have referred to you as the greatest "master baiter" of all time.

Triton, good luck ever getting yourself up to Snowflake's level. Not that he's that good, it's just that you don't have much potential to begin with.

Hobie, I think the fryer is covered. I think there will be a contingent staying on the river over night. We need to come up with an arrival time for everyone at the New Haven landing.
