Winchster SX3 or Browning Gold SL Hunter?
Anyone have, or have handled/shot, a new SX3 or a Gold Superlite Hunter? Curious as to your thoughts on'em.

Hob's,
I shoulderd a SX3 in my pursuit for a new boom stick. If didn't quite feel right. Seemed like a decent enough gun though. BTW, that used H&K Lion that I bought there had some issues. Took it out to shoot some on Sunday, and it wouldn't feed shells from the magazine to the chamber. I never got to fire a shot with it. Took it back in Monday and walked out with a new Franchi S-12. I like it alot. Should have went with it to start with.

Dem Franchis is damm good guns from what I've heard and read. I've shouldered one or two at the store, but haven't ever pulled the trigger on one. They seem to come up real nice. Certainly feel good in your hand... not all blocky like some of'em.
In my quest, the Stoeger and Franchi were definitely in the runnin... but now, with this new hook-up, Browning is the heavy favorite, followed closely by the Winchester. I'm still not sure if'n I'm gonna get a new boomer this year or not. The old one is still shuckin, so it ain't a neccessity by any means. Also kinda depends on when a deal comes thru.

Maybe sell more camo, and just make up the difference in cost.
The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.
