Montauk

Hit Montauk over the weekend and the fishing was pretty good especially on Saturday. All light weight gear, line and jigs. Nice fish with most over 14".

43rd Rose Holland trout derby on the 7th and 8th. My step daughter has a baby shower the 7th, it's just one thing after another this year.

Ummm, BB, men aren't supposed to go baby showers. Trust me on this one.

Crowds were horrible everywhere and I lied above...there are no fish there. But, I still don't know how fish found out about number 12.

I will admit the last one I was at (for my lil one) was not so bad. There was more beer than I could shake a stick at and I got to run the grill. It was a rat race between me and my father-n-law to see who could put the most beer away.

I'd rather catch carp out of 8 ditch.
