Order went in today (update)

I ordered my new barrel and stock for my Savage, I went to Sharp Shooter Supply and ordered a 27 inch .308 heavy varmint barrel 1.055 to .880 contour. I called Midway and ordered a Choate Ultimate Sniper Stock and some reloading stuff, hope to have them all together by first day of gun season.

Did you order a barrel nut wrench and an action vise?

I did order the wrench and recoil lug but I have a vise I am going to put the old barrel in and I will center mark the barrel when I tighten the lock ring.

Got the new stock just waiting for the barrel now .

I thought the barrel might take a little longer than deer season.

Well they are telling me middle of the week, so if it gets here wednesday I will get it installed, head spaced on wednesday and then spend thursday and friday tuning up.
