A true story...

Post by LadyAngler » January 31st, 2007, 1:08 pm

This is the story of a patient I have been caring for over the last month. If you wish... please read her story. You will truly appreciate life. I know we all tease around a lot here and have good fun, and I don't wanna be a complete buzz kill. However, I just feel that sharing her story is important.

Great story, LA. I know as hard as you all may try to stay distanced from a patient it doesnt always work as planned.

I,m kind of going through that with my mother. She is in the final stages of COPD and it is real hard to watch her die slowly.

You know, I was watching last night on the news or somewhere and there was a little girl that was born with the same exact thing your son had. She is doing great now. Had like 5 surgeries or something.

Thanks everyone! Jen and her husband are the neatest couple. It's been difficult to watch the cancer take it's course with her. I appreciate all of you taking the time.

Roscoe: I'm sorry to hear of your struggle. I'll add her to my prayers.

Craig: I didn't realize you still made updates to his blog. PM me the address again if you would. I'd love to see some recent pics.

Wow LA that is some story, what a courageous family too. Couple years back watched my dad slip away at the age of 91. He had a good life but it is still tough to watch.

Prayers on the way for Roscoe's mom and MOC's son and his surgery. Enjoy our friends and family while they are here....they are gone too fast.

Thanks, LA. I really need something like that today.

Man good luck. I'll be thinking about you guys. I tell you I'll never understand some things. I would lay down and die to keep a child from suffering. Then, you have these foolish parents in the middle east who fully support their children's decision to strap on a suicide bomb for the sake of Allah. They have to be really fornicated up in the head. Children, even if they are 52 years old, have to be the essence of innocence.

You guys know what the heck I'm talking about. Even when they are 52, they'll still be my children. I'll probably have survived a couple of strokes by then caused directly by chit they have pulled, but they'll still be my kids.
