Hunted public ground and probably put in as many hours as much as I ever had since my college days, and only worked two mature birds. Neither one came into range. I passed a shot at a dumbazs jake, and that ended up being a dumbazs move. I made a couple more desperation attempts and forked them up good. The end.

I wasn't going for overconfident jackazs though, I was trying for more arrogant bastard, but you know how trying to communicate over the internet is, connotation and inflection are thrown completely out of the window.

Nice job with the way you held that grudge also. I've been looking for a worthy grudge to get invested in, but they are getting harder to come by these days, so I just do charity work and pray for orphans. I still miss me some late night hate fueled revenge planning though.
