Re: boobies in the room
Another example of zero tolerance stupidity.....Mo is now trying to pass legislation that would increase the crime for sales of certain drugs, near a park punishable the same as murder (life in prison). Give me a fornicating break.....let's just lock everybody up for life that commits a crime, because that is the direction this country is heading. God forbid we allow a little common sense to invade our society any more. :shakinmyhead:

ODF I agree with you anyone selling drugs near a park is doing so to target kids they should not go to jail for life, they should be shot on the spot.

Re: boobies in the room
You know what BJ, If they were selling to kids I wouldn't have an issue with that. However, considering EVERYONE uses parks, from infants to grandparents you cannot possibly say that anyone selling drugs near a park is targeting kids. In our city park you'll find more people that are 25 years and older, up to senior citizens, than you will kids.
Rather than making a stupid law about WHERE it's sold, how about just making a common sense law that actually addresses the problem...sell drugs to kids, get life in prison.....or shot. But, Heaven forbid, that would be too easy and make WAY too much sense.

Actually I say make all drugs legal....IE walk into a Pharmacy show proof of age and get FREE narcotics, get as stoned as they want until they are dead. Natural selection, Thinning out the herd, or Life guard in the gene poole...wht ever term you like. Give the junky what he wants, put the drug zar's out of business and kill anyone caught "selling" drugs on the spot.

That's a rational plan.

Damnn man...you might be alright after all BJ!
Darwin had a theory...I say let's put it to the test.
Actually WM, you'd be surprised as to how many folks in law enforcement would/do support a version of BJ's plan. A lot would support decriminalization/legalization of soft drugs (pot, etc.) and even loosening of laws pertaining to certain "harder" drugs while clamping down on the more/most dangerous. A buddy of mine w/ HP has been a long time supporter (although not very vocal advocate) for no restrictions on growing/possession of pot for personal use but make penalties much harsher for selling/buying the drug.

Re: boobies in the room
Well lets face it anyone doing heroin, cocaine, crack etc etc is never going to be a brain trust, instead they will turn out like Kerry or Gore a couple of babbling morons, sucking the life out of our tax base getting Medicaid, or worse free medical which will drive up the already high rates that doctors / hospitals charge try to recoup their losses. Hey here is another part to my legalize drug post:
If a junky O.D's. they will be euthanized rather than trying to save them they just let them die. Natural selection!

Anything you can do, I can do better.
