Optima Batteries

Since we were discussing deep-cycle batteries in another thread, I thought it would be a good time to bring up this subject.

I was wondering if anyone out there has owned Optima batteries (specifically the "blue top" deep-cycle)and what your opinion of them are. I have read all the manufacturer info about their durability, long life, and fast charging, but I wanted to hear any stories you all have, good or bad. The price is steep but I may get one if I hear enough good things about them.
