Could we call this the Great WhiteHunter Derby? Since you said it was a squirrel tourney.
That's funny you don't look Druish.

Sounds like a neat event.

I read that in the late 1700's-early 1800's squirrel hunting comptitions were a big deal for local noteriety. Rules were usually set for hunters to turn in squirrel scalps with both ears conected to be counted, and the event lasting 3 days. On the results I found for one competition, the winner turned in 903 squirrels, the second place was 790. Image

Made me wonder how much territory they covered, and how much shot and powder a guy could carry with him, and how many relatives could help withh the shooting. Image

My church did something like this. We don't have squirrels so we had a baby seal derby. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it.
And what do YOU want for Christmas, little girl?

Length of the squirrels what? Tail, penis, from end of tail to tip of nose. I might want in on this. Image

If anyone is interested in this, PM me your e-mail address and I'll get the info to you.

It will be held Feb. 2 in Alba, MO, which is in Jasper County. As an added bonus, you may get to meet me.

Why, are you going to be inspecting the squirrels to make sure they meet local health codes? Image
