Table Rockl

Post by Triton X2 » March 19th, 2008, 11:08 am

Last weekend Table Rock lake level was 915
Yesterday.......917
Today.............924
Projected level....931

Note: The highest Table Rock has ever been was 930 in, I think, 1983 or something like that.

I have no idea what it will do to the fishing, but it could be interesting.

Wow.....don't know if I'll make my usual trip down there or not, although it should help the white bass runs this year.

I think it crested Saturday sometime at around 929....Whatever the stage, there is a lot of water. I thought about jumping of the Kimberling City Bridge on Saturday, cuz the water is only about 5 feet from the bridge on the south end of the bridge.

That would be fun until you got knocked in the head by a floating log or something.

I remember going up the James River about 5 or 6 years ago and seeing big round bales floating. A friend of mine even saw a dead cow. Not to mention all of the floating logs and crap all over..It was kind of like running an obstacle course that day.

I went to Truman Lake this weekend to check on my lake property there- while the flooding isn't near as bad, all of the tributary rivers are up and muddy and the lake is up right now although not to a point of flooding the recreational areas.

My daughter was able to touch the bottom of the Kimberling City bridge from my front deck in one of the high water years a few eons ago. She is a principal and still comments about that.

Jigman, have you been to Stockton lately? I have a tournament up there on April 16th, thought with all your expertise up there you might be able to help a brother out...

Stockton is 12' up and cold. In a week or so I am going down there. What ramp is your tourny using? Which group is it?
