I'd be interested in seeing what structure the "pros" target during the tournament- I have caught a lot of nice walleye at Truman but haven't necessarily been targeting the best spots for them.

Welcome to the board Martin- by the way did you come from the StocktonLake.com bulletin board or friends with any of the local MWAA members?

Tigerhaze, if you catch nice walleyes at Truman you should enter the tournament. I think last Sept., the winners had two walleyes.
The old MWAA is now called Mid-South Walleyes. They have new owners.

I'm not very fond of tournaments- it makes something (fishing) that is enjoyable for me a hassle and stressful.

Still, I would be interested inseeing what the pros pull out of there and what kind of structure they target.

I think "avid local walleye fisherman" would better describe the entries in these Mid-South tournaments. None of them do it for a living. I can't think of a tougher place to try and catch a walleye, on purpose, then Truman. lol.

Truman has its days. I have done newspaper articles, and also my father and I won a Tournament on there. When there is a bite there is a good bite, but when they are shut down they are shut down!
