Well it sounds like LaRussa has decided to "retire" as the Cards manager- I think it puts a real damper on the high that the Cards went out on this season but I can understand him wanting to go out on top, especially at his age. i just hope this isn't a one year "retirement" and that he ends up managing at another club.

Who have you heard as a replacement for TLR? if looking outside, obviously Terry Francona has been thrown out there and Terry Pendleton has also been mentioned, although a former Card. Within the organization I heard promoting Duncan or Oquendo. Should be an interesting search.
