Truman Lake

Post by RB » June 28th, 2012, 1:07 pm

Back yesterday from 5 very hot days at Truman. The hybrid bite was pretty shut down and I only managed one keeper. Crappie were tough in the area I was in and it was hot and windy. Did manage enough for a fish fry and some for the freezer but it was tough. Still had a good time.

What pattern were crappie on? Flats, timber, suspended in channel?

Flat in 8' fow. Minnnows were best due to the huge shad hatch.
