Busch Wildlife

Well my hunt at Busch Wildlife Area starts tomorrow. Been shooting the Motive a ton, driving tacks with my broadheads out to 40 yards and have all my gear washed up and in the rubbermaid with a bunch of dirt, leaves and sticks thrown in there. Scouted a couple weeks ago and found some great looking spots, so I guess all that is left to do is play the wind and cross my fingers!!! Just need something to step out. Hoping for my first deer with the new set up. Not a single piece of archery equipment I am using this year has been involved in a deer kill. Time to break it in!!!

Have fun, Russ. That would be an exciting hunt knowing what kinda monsters have been there.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty excited about it. It helps that my brother's place is less than 5 miles from the front gate. Easy in, easy out. There are definitely some toads out there, just need one to show up. Hoping for a nice cold front towards the end of that last week. I know a guy in here that is really fond of that first cold front near the end of October. :)
