OK, just got back home from your neck of the woods RB. I'm working on acquiring properties in Montgomery and Gasconade counties, particularly along the Gasconade River. Otherwise getting some farm work done at my other properties and getting ready for deer season which is right around the corner.

TH, you looking at property for yourself or someone else. this is a great part of the state to own land. Buy it now because prices are going up fast especially in our county.

It's for me- part of my semi-retirement portfolio. I want property on the east side of the state so I can stay there from time to time as my parents get older.

Gary, sounds like a good idea. I'll keep an eye out for you. How many acres you looking at?

I'm looking for at least 3 acres so I can use the 3 acre exemption for septic but don't need a large tract because I already have good hunting ground in Northern and Western MO. I'm probably going to stay west of Warren and Franklin Counties due to the increased regulations but not ruling it out completely.

Hello!!! Sorry RB, been more busy than I care to be. Trying to get ready for bow season. Haven't been fishing much at all. Was supposed to hit the Piney this weekend, but not sure about the weather. Tropical Storm keeps dissipating, so we may still have a chance.

I had the chance on Sunday to fish an abandoned quarry that I've wanted to fish for a number of years now; nothing caught of size but plenty of small to medium LM bass so was well worth it as the weather was awesome.

Nice! We backed out of our Piney float only to see that the river hardly rose at all. Would have been a pretty cold wet day though as we could only float Saturday.

Went to Taney a couple weeks ago with one of our inactive members from here. We caught a lot of trout but only kept enough for one dinner. I have a pretty good winter supply of fish, mostly crappie, in the freezer so I'll be set until spring. Who all is going out this weekend? My buddy and his son are coming out for the weekend because his 15 year old son is ate up with bow hunting. Hope he connects with something his first time out.

Good luck to them! I will be hunting Saturday for sure. Switched from my field tips to my broadheads this past weekend and am dead on out to 40, so I am extremely confident accuracy wise! Just need an opportunity. May hunt Sunday as well, but definitely Saturday.
