Truman Crappie

Post by Tigerhaze » May 9th, 2019, 11:36 am

I caught some really nice crappie last weekend in a tributary to Truman Lake. Unfortunately the lake and the tributaries are so high right now from the recent rains that I think it would be really tough to find them on the lake. However below dams and in back eddies on tributaries are doing well when the water clears up some.

I follow the Truman lake area Facebook page and the guides are still doing well in the high water. Spider rigging double hook minnow rigs. When we were down last week of snagging the dead water was loaded with boats. Lots of good crappie caught then before the real high water.
