LOL I check in once in a while. Been busy travelling the last few weeks- first for a week long work/vacation trip to Montana and then twice to the St. Louis area after that. During the St. Louis trips I went to the Blues parade/rally and also the Wings over Whiteman air show at Whiteman AFB.

Yeah the parade was controlled chaos but the rally was generally well organized given the short time. Lots of adult fun with minimal downsides.

It wasn't as bad as maybe it seemed on TV- except the players themselves and especially the Golden Brett.

Well RB, I was over your way during the 4th weekend. Have a buddy that owns a place on the Bourbeuse River and spent a couple days over there. Went to an auction for the former Honold Hardware store in Beaufort which was pretty cool as some of the items in it were a century old- the old wooden bolt carousel went for $5500.

That auction sounds like fun. Give me a heads up when you're going be over this way and we'll grab a beer. On weekends DMR could join us. Bourbeuse is a neat little river.

I'm getting over that way more often now that I own a lot on the Loutre River and in the process of buying some places near Hermann. Not sure when I will be over that way next but will let you know if this site doesn't get shut down before then

RB, went past the turnoff for your place on Hwy 47 last weekend but was on a schedule to help clean out my grandmother's house after she passed.
