Never a problem getting snowed in. At least you got some good eating birds. Next week should be better here. More of our yoyo fall weather.Tigerhaze wrote: ↑October 28th, 2020, 7:31 pm The trip was pretty good despite a winter storm up there that delayed my return for a day. Limited out each day on pheasants and for the days I did fish we also limited out on nice smallmouth bass and caught a few northern pike as well. The hard part is coming back to nastier weather here in KC- I would rather have the powder snow and 8 degrees in SD than cold rain and sleet on snow and 33 degrees here in MO.

Yeah, sorry I have been so MIA. This COVID mess is keeping me beyond busy. How is everyone. Or should I say both of you?

LS you know how I'm doing. I'm sure Gary, Tigerhaze is ok. He'll check in here pretty soon, maybe.

I check in time to time- been busy with personal stuff plus some work trips to other states. In the meantime I did fit in the Missouri Firearm deer season and got a buck and a doe. The buck was a decent 8 pointer which I took about an hour after taking my first doe with a handgun (.44 Mag). I also had some opportunities to take another doe but the conditions and timing ended up not quite being right for a clean kill so didn't take it.

Sounds like a good season Gary. Our hunters got 2 bucks and a doe off our place. Everyone could have tagged out but they were horn hunting. We had a lot of deer here this year.

Hi RB- still check in once in a while. Been busy fishing, shroom hunting, and turkey hunting when I'm not working.

Was beginning to think nobody was still visiting. Loud echo in here most of the time.

You would think that until you see this thread has over 2000 views, and I know I'm not more than a dozen of those.

It's crazy all the views we get and no post. Mebbe they're just skeered to post.

It must be the "bots" as I can't imagine too many people would be interested in what you and I are doing.
